Brinley Gives Back
At Brinley, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate and reside. We firmly believe in utilizing our time, skills, and resources for the betterment of society, and are committed to doing so.
We actively support our local communities and charitable organizations in various ways, including through firmwide sponsorships and volunteer initiatives that empower our employees to create meaningful change.
Brinley team members are encouraged to give back to their local communities and support causes they are passionate about, whether that be through serving on boards, making charitable contributions, or volunteering their time.
Our History
Brinley Partners was founded by Managing Partner Kerry Dolan in 2021 to focus on credit and preferred equity opportunities. Having direct experience as both an investor and an allocator, Kerry believed there was a market need for a new alternative investment firm focused on relationships, transparency and achieving great outcomes for key stakeholders. Former colleague and long-time friend, Kirsten Hagen, also believed there was an opportunity to do things differently and better, and joined as Partner and Co-Founder. Kerry and Kirsten serve as Brinley’s Investment Committee and are responsible for the firm’s investment decisions.
Rounding out the firm’s senior investment team are Co-Founders and Managing Directors Alyssa Roland and Brian Myers who have worked with Kerry for approximately eight years including nearly five years as an allocator. Alyssa and Brian shared Kerry’s vision and joined the firm shortly after its founding. Alyssa and Brian are Co-Heads of the firm’s Investment Screening Committee.
We believe the shared background and common experience among the senior members of the investment team, who have worked and/or invested alongside one another for many years, contributes to a firm culture that values open communication and a willingness to question assumptions, resulting in better investment decisions.
